Ronnie is a Screen Academy Scotland, MFA Screenwriting graduate.  Before focussing full-time on screenwriting, he was a police officer (Detective Chief Inspector) in  Edinburgh, Scotland, where he worked primarily within the CID, including attachments to the Serious Crime Squad and the Scottish Crime Squad.  His roles included Senior   Investigating Officer and Negotiator.
